The 2022 (In Person) SENY Convention Committee has been working tirelessly to provide a fun, safe, and informative weekend for you. With the help of SENY’s Exploratory Committee and Area Officers, we will work to make the convention as safe as possible for attendees.

We will have great workshops, in both English and Spanish, and speakers lined up for the weekend as well as a long-awaited banquet dinner. The program is being worked on and will soon be posted on the SENY website. Since we are self-supporting, there is a $25 registration fee. If you are interested in registration + Saturday night banquet, the fee is $100.

El Comité de la Convención SENY 2022 (en persona) ha estado trabajando incansablemente para brindarle un fin de semana divertido, seguro e informativo. Con la ayuda del Comité Exploratorio de SENY y los Oficiales de Área, trabajaremos para que la convención sea lo más segura posible para los asistentes.

Tendremos excelentes talleres, en ingles y español, y oradores alineados para el fin de semana, así como una cena de banquete muy esperada. Queens County General Service Assembly

Queens County General Assemblies are held primarily for General Service Reps (GSRs) and District Committee Members (DCM’s) to collect information about events and other matters of interest outside their respective Groups.

It also provides a means for Groups to be heard in matters impacting their Group or Area if they are unable to make it to the Area Assembly.

New GSR or DCM Orientation is held between 7:00 and 7:30 pm before each Assembly.

General Assemblies are held on the last Monday of every other month of the Year. All are Welcome to Attend!!

87^Th Anniversary of AA

June 10th & 11th 2022 (2-day event)

“Founders Day” commemorates June 10, 1935, the day when Dr. Bob Smith took his last drink. 6/10/2022 will mark the 87th year of AAs helping other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.

Location: Springman Hall at St. Camillus

180 Beach 100 Street (at Shore Front Parkway)

Friday June 10:

7-9PM “AA History Panel”

Speakers will share their knowledge and experience of the history and growth of Alcoholics Anonymous. Followed by Q&A and Shares from the floor.

Saturday, June 11:

2PM-7PM “12 Step Series”

Step meetings will run throughout the afternoon beginning with a 50-55min meeting for steps 1-3. Speaker meetings with shares from the floor. Breaks for fellowship and food between each group.

Please Note

The address of Springman Hall @ St. Camillus is 180 Beach 100 Street. The entrance to the PARKING LOT is on Beach 100th Street between Shore Front Parkway and Rockaway Beach Blvd. The entrance to Springman Hall is from the Parking Lot. There is a handicapped restroom in Springman Hall.

There is no wi-fi internet service in Springman Hall.
